    It's a nice motor....pushed my genesis to 56 mph on 5s......only used 1 time for 2 minutes.
Genesis (Bosncali Geico Beater) Leopard 4082 1500KV
(63.7 MPH) Traxxas Spartan (same setup)

He's the man who used it one time.. I found a motor I really like so no need to even use this one. My loss is your gain

5s will put it at 40,700 RPMs... that's not to much? BTW, what motor did you find perfect for your MG?

There is no comparison. My first motor was a 4074 2200kv which is 2600 watts this one is 3500watts but my mg was hitting mid to high 40s right out of the box just swapped motor and esc no adjustments and a stock motor from what I've read does abou 35 out of the box. Its a much smaller can less power

Stock vs 4074 the 4082 is 8mm longer

Thanks. How does the 4082 handle in the MG? I'm just looking to replace my stock motor. I have a Seaking 180a esc, I have a 5s setup, so just looking for a new can.

Honestly I don't know I didn't run it in my mg but I loved my 4074 but its on the bottom of the lake in another boat. I have my highest speed of 63.4 with a 4074 2000kv on 6s but the run times were horrible but it screamed. My best with the 1518 was 62.1 but the run times were a lot better so ill stick with that. That motor cost me $140 with water jacket so ill keep that one.

You think the run times would be horrible on the 4082?

Not sure my 4074 got great run times but was also running 4s the more rpms the more amp draw means less run time. I also switched my esc to 3.0 right after I ran the 2000kv so I'm sure that helped me get better run times
