I just started monkeying around with boats in July of this year, so I'm quite a newbie. Just diving in head first, that's for sure.
I would have felt bad if I had yanked this one out from under you though!

I have too many projects already, yet can't resist getting new ones. Now I gotta find some electronics for it somewhere without breaking the bank, that might be tough.

All the best to you & good luck hiding it all from the wife, lol. If you think she's close to figuring things out, you might need to distract her with some new & shiny piece of jewelry instead of buying that next toy Should hold her off for a while!

First of all, Pls. don't feel bad! I don't have any hard feelings towards you or Mike or anybody. It's perfectly okay! Actually my first offer was on Oct 29 in behalf of a friend which is 3 days after yours, It was made through PM. I asked Mike if he's willing to ship it to The Philippines and if he's willing to accept $75 plus the shipping cost. He replied on Oct 31 and He said okay as long as I pay as Gift and shoulder the shipping cost. Which is actually my offer. Also on Oct 31. I replied and asked for for the shipping cost and gave him the shipping info. I didn't received a reply so I Pm'd him yesterday Nov. 3 and told him that my friend changed his mind so, instead I will be the one who's going to buy it. I only received one reply from Mike and that was on Oct 31. I'm just telling you the story.

Please don't get me wrong because I wrote my short story about the exchange of PM's. Everything is fine and again I have nothing against anybody. I'm happy for mike's sale and I'm glad you get the iceberg. Besides, I expressed my intentions through PM so it doesn't count. We're all boaters and I'm always happy when my fellow boaters are enjoying the hobby. That's why I've been promoting the hobby here in the Philippines. There's very few boaters here so every time there's a newbie here, I'm always willing to help.

Let's enjoy this hobby that we all love so much! (As long as it's not on my wife's radar! Hahaha!)

I never heard anything from the seller about another offer, thought I was the only one, I'm sorry - sent payment about 4 hours ago though.

I did express interest as soon as he lowered his asking price, perhaps my intent to buy at his asking price was before your offer?
I feel bad now, but I definitely was looking to buy this a while ago.

1) Yeah, thats where I think the PO was going to run them. I had planned on moving them over to where the half moons are and doing an aluminum tube to match the strut.
2) I think 380's is what its intended for. I had planned on running a pair of those Eflite Six motors
3) Yeah those are some dinky ass little u joint couplers. They are plastic. Honestly I had planned on throwing them away... I see no need for them in a properly setup boat.
4) Yeah, my only theory is that maybe that was going to be an antenna hole? Which is kinda retarded without that little proboat style tupperware sealed inner hatch. It was going to be filled before paint.

Also on the back of the boat the only holes are right in the center between the sponsons. The other black dots are sharpie from where I was going to mount the struts.

I had planned on getting the micro size rudder from the OSE store instead of that monster it comes with.

After seeing videos of these things run I was hooked. But my hobby ADD got the best of me and I'm back into Jeeps

I'm interested, but have a few questions.

1-The 2 brass tubes out the back are for the struts?
2-What size motors would fit in there? 2, 28XX or 380 size??
3-Are those motor couplers, in the first picture, near the plastic baggie?
4-Is there a hole in between the 2 cockpits?

Sorry for all the questions. Just want to make sure I know what I would be getting in to.
