Do you run it without the body? My 1/7 scale gets in teh air right around 65 with the body on, but I've been in the 100's with it off.

You could also make a motor mount out of angled aluminum...just a matter of drilling a few holes. These are really fun cars in a parking lot. Whoever gets it will want to get some foams for it but it looks like a nice peice

Body on. Never tried it off, I'm gonna give it a whirl though.

I just picked another one of these up yesterday for $75. Granted it's not as clean as this one! But it's gonna make another good high speed ride. Might go TEKIN esc & motor combo on this one and compare speeds.
