HPI/Castle Flux 2200kV motor/ESC combo

I have this HPI(Castle) 2200kV flux motor and esc combo that was in my brushless revo and I recently parted it out.

I waterproofed the ESC with the liquid electrical tape and it works GREAT! No heat issues at all and a great piece of mind.

Of course I wouldn't advise getting it wet, but thats just a disclaimer :)

I'm looking to get $225 shipped priority mail in the lower 48.

Its done pretty good for me. All of these Mamba Monster controllers have been awesome. I think this is the third or fourth one I've had.

I've got the Castle branded MMM in my 1/8th buggy and it doesn't even have a fan in the case and it keeps cool on hot summer days of bashing. Amazing hardware :)

hey man I have the MMM in my 1/8 hyper st pro truggy (hence my screenname) on 6s and i love it! Just wondering if you could show me how you waterproofed it? looks like you took the case apart and then smothered the circuit board with the liquid tape? thanks

I didn't take any pictures, but there are videos on Youtube. But yeah basically thats what I did. Just made sure everything was coated well with a lot of thin coats and also don't get it all over the heat sinks otherwise that will affect the cooling :)

That's interesting considering a) the flux had been around far longer than leopard stuff and b) leopard is a clone of castle stuff

the Flux has been out 2 years this month now, or maybe March will be two years
and Leopard has been around, well we really don't know
and leopard imo is not a clone of castle but just another maker of great brushless products
Castle is made in China possibly on the same block as leopard
who knows, maybe even in the same warehouse?

I do like the HPI Sagave Flux HP, killer truck!

They are purchased from castle by HPI and all warranty work is carried out via castle creations. The Leopard motor you linked is just a copy of the flux motor.

they are the same motor
as you can see the HPI motor is not the Castle made in china motor that is in the Revo
the speedo is the same as castle
