don't know why that post showed up above the other reply's but their it is i bought it as a set with the mamba esc for 250 bucks at my LHS Ive got the receipt also i could take a pic also the system is only about 3 months old and Ive only ran the truggy a couple of times id say a total of 4 runs on 4s and 1 run on 6s. 22.2 volts is way to much even with a 14 tooth pinion so i didn't try it again just to much for out front of the house im not a racer just run them with friends and such.

so for those who wanted to buy one or two for a build here at OSE, and others wanting them for there Monster Trucks, are out because of there greed?

These motors sold for more than $70 before CC decided to discontinue them. They dropped the price to clear them out of the warehouse. Other companies bought them and are probably not selling them for a whole lot more than they sold for before the big CC blowout. Besides, A business has an overhead to cover and then you figure shipping costs, packaging materials etc etc. I think it falls in line with business to make a profit or you wouldnt be in business. JMO

my comment is that some bought a load to make more than a few bucks on these motors when others wanted them at the great price Castle had them at
packaging and shipping is a few bucks, but what do I know?
