Yeah I was tempted to get the pair of Kanellos drives and stash them for a future project. But 900 bucks and no way to get parts? That guy might be asking too much for discontinued items. But they might be worth it to someone for the novelty.

I knew Peter Kanellos. He lived about 20 min from me. Visited him allot in his work shop and home. Bought two boats from him in the early 90's. One was a twin, had twin out drives, like one posted and and twin .25cc Homolite weed wacker engines. His own designed deep vee hull at 60" long and 14" wide. Did about 35mph. Very smart guy. Built some nice hulls and machined some great parts. Don't know if he is around anymore.

never did the scale thing i just shoot around looking at pics and what people are selling and building, but those outdrives the 900.00 dollar ones (that i saw are discontinued) sweet but id hope they take ya out and sleep with ya for that haha
