    FS Neu 1521/1.5y 1050kv

Guy's I'm selling a Neu 1521/1.5Y 1050kv motor as seen in the picture. Its coming out of my TC31. Its been a very strong motor on 7S and 8S. I'm going to be trying a 1518 as the replacement. The hull really cant utilize this big of a motor, its just too small and it gets very squirrely over 60mph. I purchased the motor 2 years ago from Ken Joye (mach 5 racing) who has used it for one season. So its 3 years old. But its never been abused, Ken treated it well (as he does with all of his stuff, hulls/motors/esc) and I ran it with the entire time on only a 120 amp speedo so it never saw huge amps. It has the same feel as any of my brand new in the box Neu's in the same size. The water cooling jacket was custom made by Ken and does not leak a drop. This motor is a finned version under the jacket. Bearings are perfect. Always lubed after each run with Militech-1 and has always had a thrust bearing installed. Comes with 5.5mm bullets. $150 shipped and you will not be dissapointed as it is a real Neu. Tons of life still left in this guy. I also have a NIB for $250 but this one will perform just as good for $100 cheaper.

A 1717/1580kv motor is a better motor if you are limited on esc voltage. On 6S the 1717 will produce about the same power as the 1521 does on 8S. The 1717 will run at 35k rpm where as the 1521 will run at 31k. But the 1521 will run cooler due to motor eff. If you have the HV version of the Swordfish then the 1521 would be a better use of the available power. If you have the LV version then the 1521 would not be the right choice.

Thanks for the offer but I already have a few of those motors. Stocked up on a bunch of the CC motors when they were on sale.
