    Hull: H&M Hawaii Kai III

Motor: Feigao 9xl with OSE large water jacket

    ESC: Turnigy 180

Connectors: 6mm battery and 5.5 motor

    Servo: Kyosho Reflex

Turn Fin: Custom with Kintec Racing HD UL-1 mount

Drive Hardware: Octura 5mm-.187, .187 Hughey flex with 3/16" drive dog

    History:

I got this hull from Tony (Properchopper). It was originally built by Brian Buass. Brian Buass modified the sponsons and hatch so its easily taped. I believe this hull has held some records (need to confirm with Tony) and has a interesting history. I currently re-built it for some scale cruising at the pond. I have not run boats in a while and I need to start thinning my fleet down. It was taken down to glass and had some extra glass layed on the hatch and upper deck. There is a few cosmetic imperfections from running this boat. There is some small paint chips here and there. Boat was painted with Krylon so would be very easily touched up if you wish. Here is the re-build thread.

*NOTE* does not come with rx pictured.

      All PM's replied to.

Will also consider trades for a 450+ sized helicopter.

Thanks bro. That was the first time out with that turn fin and motor. She was running a x442 if I recall in that vid. With a m445 (which I will include) she has a little more without handling sacrifices. With 5s it hauls a.......without a hint of blowovers. The sponson mods work flawlessly.

Yes those T180's are good. Easy to program and runs real smooth.

              Buy this Boat !!

This is a one-of-a-kind beautiful Shovelnose hydro, runs great and with George's artful restoration is really one fine looking boat. It set two NAMBA 2-lap records, has lots of history, and can't be beat for the asking price. I'm sure George is sad to part with it, but it needs a good home with someone who will surely fall in love with it.

Just add radio, battery(ies?) and prop to run it?

Looks 10th scale...wondering about PGI graphics to complete the look?

                  Thanks!

I will include a s/b modified m445 with it. Just add rx/tx batteries and your good to go. A OSE member CornelP has created a Hawaii Kai III graphic file so all you would need is someone to cut itt for you. Much cheaper than PGI.

                        Sounds great!
Have a few 10th scale "Club Racers"...a bit slow...I don't race...just like to go fast!

May want boat shipped to OSE member "Hydromaniac" for possible re-paint and graphics into "Eagle Electric"...or just might leave it as the Kai III...

Seems too good to be true...could ya do a bench test just to make sure she works...before I commit?

                        Back to ya soon....thanks again...

I've been fortunate to be surrounded by a lot of good people on this forum that has helped me out tremendously. Its my turn to return the favor. I'm not happy to sell it but my daughter will gladly enjoy a better Christmas.
