For Sale: NEW Hydra 240 lv

This is a brand new Hydra 240 lv I just received from Castle as a warranty replacement for one that burned up. DON'T run these higher than 4s- see the attached photo of the burned up unit that was run on 6s- I'm pretty sure they didn't repair it- LOL. $200 plus actual shipping costs. Never sold on this forum before, but I have a spotless record on Ebay as Mikekaw900. I can e-mail you a copy of the warranty receipt from Castle. Paypal only, E-mail me at nitromike54@gmail.com. Castles are famous for nuking if used above 4S.....search the forums and you can find lots of info...that being said, they are a great 4S controller and a new one for 200 bucks is a good deal.

In addition to that statement folks need to be reminded that CC does not warranty the 240LV ESC when used above 4S even though its a 6S controller.
But you will find folks using this ESC, I ran 5S for awhile (months), over the 4S warranty limit with success. Sorry to detract from your ad but these are still very good controllers. I own more of them then any other speedo and couldnt be happier. I know Brian Bruaas (Snowman) really likes this speedo too. Good luck with the sale.

add some extra caps on the esc and you can run this esc with 6s a 200 A. no problem.
just some things you have to keep in mind:
add the extra caps, don´t drive too much part load and make the wires as short as possible. disable the BEC while you use mor then 4s.

I use this esc on a 1521 neu running in a MHZ Mystic. x447 with brand new zippy flightmax for more then 1 year. no problems.

Actually, Castle warranteed this controller and I was very specific about running it on 6s. They are very concerned about the mah rating of your setup though- they want you to use 8500-10000 mah on high power setups.

agreed I run my Q sport hydro on 5s2p with a 240 LV a 1527 1.5d, x457 prop!
