    NEU 1515 1.5y 1500kv

Here is a NEU 1515 1.5y .... it hasn't seen many runs at all.... never over 130 degrees and has all of its "cogging"..... bearings are very good and no play in the shaft....

I am upgrading my mean machine to a 1717, because after the recent smoking castle deals I have one sitting around.....so this NEU needs a new home... this pushed my mean machine very very well....... I used a coil cooler and always stayed nice and cool also...

I have three of these and this is the one with the least run time... has a total of about 10 runs....

Sorry the pic is still of her in the boat....

$155 shipped in the US......will ship internationally if buyers pays difference..... buyer to pay paypal fees...

Would you consider a trade of a used 1512 2d and some money?

blackcat looks like you might sell yours anyhow....lol.... let me know what your thinking.... I don't really know what I'd use it in... but I like NEU motors... If I didn't have others of the 1515 1.5y's I'd keep this one.... I like the 1515 1.5y's... i have ran all mine on castle lv120's mostly... on 6s even... and haven't popped a 120 esc yet... the higher voltage definately equals less amp draw.... let me know... I guess I could use this 1512 in my df29 if the 1512 castle/neu 1850 kv doesn't get it done for me on 4s...lol.... I would use a seaking 180 or himodel 200 though for the D wind... even the 1512 D wind is probably rugged on a esc....

Well after tonight's "run" for lack of a better word I am hatchless. I apparently was playing russian roulette with the little amount of tape I was using. Lost the hatch then the rescue boat busted a hole in the sponson tip with it's plastic prop and down she went. Luckilly it was only about 5 feet deep where it plunged. So to all that are reading this the factory styrofoam may not be enough floatation as I have found out. (the hard way as usual)

I have another 1515 1.5y that I bought new from FDM... yeh I actually got my order...lol.... the motor somehow lost its cogging.... it got somewhat hot... 160 degrees on two occasions and now has no cogging... no play whatsoever in shaft, bearings are perfect, even runs ok still... has no more then 7 runs....just very very little cogging.... is this worth anything or should I just send it back to NEU... I'd sell it fairly cheap.....
