Has anyone bought from this shop.? if so what type of service did you get.
I live in Australia and ordered and paid for a H&M No Step S14 hull plus a couple of props. The order was placed in January this year ( 2010) and haven't received it . I have sent lots of e-mails, but to no avail. They still have this H&M no step s14 hull on special for $125.00 usd. It would be great if someone who lives near by could find out whats going on for me.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, FD has consistently had poor service for the past few years.

Thank you Raydee, for your quick responce, how can they still be in business if they treat customers like this, it's fraud, and is there a place that I can lodge a complaint to,? if so send it to me please. Honest people don't like being ripped off.

The thing with them is they WILL eventually deliver but that is horrible business in my opinion. My buddy ordered a Lehner motor from them and I think it took 6-8 months for them to deliver it. He sent MULTIPLE emails to them and was very frustrated.

I heard from many folks towards the end of last year that he went out of buisness. Yet the site still is there and hadnt seemed to be touched in some time. I havent been on his site for months.. mostly do to the rep they have. I hope you get it straightned out. Id start trying to get funds back (hopefully you paid using a CC or something thats traceable and insured.

i think you will get your stuff. it just takes months. i used to deal with them and get poor service but finally it got so bad i will never deal with chris fine again.... sorry to hear someone did..

It would be even better if someone would go over there and give Chris a BIG thump on the head and tell him to get his s--t together. Or Dan..whomever is running it now.

People should write the manufacturers and tell them and maybe he would be cut off then Steven could pick up the line...have some real service!!

Hey Wayne, i visited FDN in Feb.and bought stuff from Chris. we spoke for about 2 hrs and was very nice to me and my 11yr old. he is off on sat, sun and Monday so i will give him a call for you, and inquire about your order on Tuesday.

I thought about it a few times when I lived back East, but NJ would have extradited me for two counts. Not that there wouldn't have been lots of motive from lots of other ex-customers. Not the way I would have wanted to become a hero in the model boating world :)
