just wondering if you might be opening yourself up to copyright infringement on something like this?
I know Mike Gosler at PGI graphics has stopped making Dewalt hydro graphics because the company lawyers came after him and Wesley custom graphics.

Calvin was drawn and owned by Bill Watterson.

I wouldn't be selling any Calvin stickers. It's just not right.

I'm inclined to agree with Andy.

You have to take into consideration, if it was your drawing or any other intellectual property and you didn't offer it free to the world for use, then it is inappropriate to use, regardless of circumstances. After all, you can always replace with a stick figure if you feel so inclined. However, I will say that in the case of sponsored boat graphics as a one off, meaning one hull, then it would fall under fair use advertising and emulation of the appropriately sponsored race team. In that case, it would not be considered as 'sold for profit'.

Just my opinion.

That being said, I'm very interested in having one in white, just the hydro, say 4"x8". You could even place an antenna on it to indicate RC. That is only if they are going to be made available, no stress if not.

This does not look anything like the clip art I used. I would not want to steal any ones intelectual property. If they looked the same then I would remove it and change it.
