this is a brand new, un-drilled BBY micro patriot. i had this special made by randy in carbon fiber, the hatch is un-cut ABS. it is brand new in perfect condition and still has mold relese on it from the factory. i have had this boat before and it is a blast on any 20-28mm brushless motor.... i paid $80 and waited about 2 months when it was built. selling it because i lost interest in micro's. measures right over 12" long by 5" wide

woah chuck i might take it off your hands but you need to find a diffrent way to ship!.
it cost me 28.75 canadian dollars to ship a 29 inch mono with hardware and a NEU motor.

i ship usps priority... it is a flat rate box. i did find it a little cheaper if i pack it in my own box $22.75 plus about $5 for insurance if wanted.... otherwise it takes weeks from hawaii. goes on a boat to the mainland then truck to canada...

i would try the 2nd set-up, it is cheap, light and verry compact... remember that most importantly this boat runs a small prop! i had another one and ran either x427 or cut down 431's.. go to BBY website and look at the hardware set-ups, his are a little pricey but spot on. also remember this was designed for brushed motors and is small. i ran mine with the first set-up shown here and it was a screamer.. hopped a little but jumped flat and straight. the 3s was a little much for the small boat. i also ran a sub-surface drive set like the one shown on BBY. check out stevens "micro strut" it can be a good set-up as surface or sub-surface. if you do try surface drive it will be harder to keep it in the water, it was designed as sub-surface.

i am sure you will enjoy this boat as i loved the first one i had. just remember to play with COG and weight.
