i have sold about 5 of these now and this one was the hardest....the turn fin is really an easy fix...the boat really looks as new...he got a killer deal

Thanks, it would be great if you can remove the turn fin from it's bracket as well. this will reduce the chance of any further damage to that area.

you can if you do it carefully...its about ready to come out with a little wiggling pressure...kind of like a childs first tooth...lol

then make a plate to fit over that whole area maybe even bold the fin bracket to it before you set the plate..then epoxy the whole unit in place with a small layer of cf or glass and paint it black and your done......when you bolt the bracket to the new plate put some epoxy on the bolt nuts so the wont turn if you have to take it off....there are many ways to do this that are not extensive..Darin did it the hard way which is probabley the best but it envolves cutting a section out of the inside of the tub to get to the backside of the broken area,,,you can search for the thread he made a stepp by step to the whole deal

Just remembered, since this has an aftermarket strut, can you tell me the diameter of the flex shaft and prop shaft so I can get suitable collet for it?

There is no flexshaft included.....the strut needs a 3/16" prop shaft so you can get what ever size flex you want and collet accordingly

please be careful when you open the box...I wrapped the nose cowl separately because of the little mirrors....the turn fin, the rudder assembly, and the wings are all individually wrapped and in the boat with there own nuts and bolts
