What makes them special over regular drive dogs ?

I need them, or would like them for my twin cat project. To simplify, it would just be more hydrodynamic and look nicer since they are black and so are my outdrives.

Much easier to show than explpain.

I really only need one at this point.

I'll trade for a new (if i have one) or slightly used Octura of same ID and approx. OD.

Drive dog pegs are a tad thinner too. for small props

Interesting, Tower Hobbies doesn't seem to sell that drive dog at all. I guess they figure the one for the super vee will work, although it is not black.

They do, it is $7.99 and due sometime soon, also they are the same as far as i know.
