I have included some pics of one of these hulls I have set up to SPEC with UL-1 motor and esc on 4S lipo, speedmaster hardware. Runs great!! Low 40's. The hull is absolutely on rails. Couldn't ask for a better handling boat.

I am going to get a cat for a winter build. How well does the hatch tape down on this cat?

Do the hulls come with the carbon fiber reinforcement seen in your spec boat?

these hulls are fantastic.. i built one for me and one for my buddie running proboat set-up's and they are the best handling cat i have ever seen... run about 42 mph on proboat motor with a x440... this is great boat...

I liked to chime in here. I have a skunkworks hull. I run a 8XL with several props from a X637 to a detongued X642 with a himodel 200a ESC on 4S. You cannot go wrong wtih this hull. This is my favorite so far out of all by boats (11 boats give or take). It is a very capable hull with excellent handling characteristics. Plus you're purchasing it from a great guy. What more can you ask for?
