I received a phone call yesterday from a guy interested in FE and our club. During the conversation he mentioned a great lake he thought we could get permission to run on. I understand it has a huge shelter on it. It's 6 miles east of where we run now, off fruitville rd.

I am going to sell my boat stuff guys. My back has become so bad I can't really handle the pain involved anymore. The guy who called is interested. I will have boats, motors, esc's, lipos, radios, the whole nine yards.

I'm waiting for him to email me to get more info about the lake, etc.

Yeah, it's killin me. I love the club and the boats but after a day of running I'm damn near house bound for a day or more. I will probably hang on to my 1/10th scale hydros and if there is ever a race where they are running them, I'll tough it out.

Most of you guys know approximately what I have. I'd prefer to sell everything locally so I don't have to hassle with shipping. Tell me what you need. I probably have it!

Airplane flying for some reason doesn't present the same challenges for my back since I can use my power wheelchair to get to and from the flightline, etc. Too bad I don't have a power chair that floats! Haha.

Well dang, Jim.. you will be missed - having suffered back problems myself, I can empathize with your lament though.

You guys will need to discuss who you want to take over the bank account, etc. I'll be happy to continue to monitor it in the meantime. I need to get a membership form posted here so you guys can print some out and have them at the lake. You can take the application and check from a new member and mail to me.

Man, I have kid duty - my two little girls. My wife does photography, and a client bagged today and rescheduled for tomorrow. I'd even like to come out and watch but can't bring the little ones to "bro time." Bummer...
