no hugh nothing to the os leg....should i? i did get the 1.5 weights in the right place and ran it last week end it didnt seem as fast but i had a bad connector so when to all 5.5's on it....hope to get it faster next time out it did look good and cornered well with no spinouts for a change lol.....yours is looking good....got that vs-1 look in the cowel though lol
In one of cybercrxt posts in the M/L PS295 build thread I thought he said they were cutting 1/2" off the bottom of the skeg. Wonder if any of the other owners have done that or something else. The cowl in the pics is off my Woodstuff tunnel I got from Ray, it's only temporary. I have the unpainted cowl I got with the boat. I'm just not much of a painter. Are you listening Scotttttttt I need a cowling painted.

The way it's looking right now I may not be able to make it Sunday unless I can hitch a ride from Chris or Scott. Started to work this morning, got out on 41 and all of a sudden my van was in "neutral". After coasting over to the side and starting to slow down it started working again around the 30 mph mark. Looks like it must have lost over drive and maybe 3rd gear. I made it on to work running about 45 mph and turning 3500 rpm.
Already looking for an affordable replacement of the same type on the net. (that way I can move my new tires to ti) If I can find one today or tomorrow all will be good. If I have to bum a ride I'll be coming real lght though.
Just an FYI on trimming an OS lower. Don't shorten the skeg. You won't see any speed difference but you may loose some handling and cornering capabilities. Any drag deep in the water will also help keep the boat from blowing over. Thinning, shapening and if you trim take it off the rear or trailing edge to clean up water flow entering the propellor.

Im sure you checked. but hows the fluid and fluid level look? We'll get you there. If Chris cant Ill see what I can do.
Guess it was a good thing you didnt go to Daytona. I was following the Arapaho thread. And if you do need to ship it, I can build any size box you need for cheap. I think as long as the total W+H+L is less then 108" it should be relatively inexpensive to ship.
I'm back in business. Found another Town & Country mini, couple of years newer and around 30k less miles. Even has working ac that doesn't smell like it's passin gas. That's gonnal hurt my fuel economy a little but.... sure will feel a lot better coming home at the end of the day
I'll be good to go for.
OPC
P mono (still gotta mount the esc and cooling lines after the motor swap)
Q
maybe 1/8 scale if I'm feeling ambitious
Still haven't got my LSH replacement finished probably next outing for it.
Thanks Mic, for the info on the OS lower. You should try to come out this Sunday and bring some FE tunnels. I will be running my new PS295 for the first time.
