There will be classes for Spec Tunnel and Open Tunnel at the Tampa Model Boat Club lake on Aug. 13th. Anyone interested should go to rc racing events to sign up!
This will be a first for them to include FE! A good turnout would be good!Mini Cat Racing USA

This danged heat doesn't seem to be letting up! Hopefully it will cool down a bit for our next gathering on August 14th! Speaking of which....who plans to attend? I'm not sure about myself if it's still this hot!Mini Cat Racing USA

Don't forget about the STORM tunnel races at the Dover lake in November! I know it seems a long way off but get signed up. We should have a large turnout!! The more electrics at these races, the better we look! More interest in FE could recruit some new members for our club as well.

I'd like to attend just to observe - no $$$ for another boat right now. Heck, I can barely drive what I have!Originally posted by sailr View PostDon't forget about the STORM tunnel races at the Dover lake in November! I know it seems a long way off but get signed up. And as to the 14th - as keeper of the retrieve boat, if someone wants to go, I'll be there for ya.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1478759 Kinda stalled on it right now. Waiting on a mount and cooler for the 2028 along with a few other odds n emds. Didn't do much to it last night as the a/c went down about 8:30 and probably won't do much tonight either. The a/c guy just has left and it's coolng again. It's going to take a while to get the place back to a "comfortable" level though.Originally posted by RCKong View Posthow are you doing on your 1/8 hydro Bill ? I found I'm going to have to fab a motor mount for the 5692 in mine. better get that air fixed...

I'm guessing with exception to offshore these are standard 6 lap heats? Do you know how many heats/class are being planned to run? And also are there any restrictions on the Open Cat class? ie single, twin, max batt maOriginally posted by bbill1 View PostThe Gulf Coast RC Boat Club is hosting the next 2011 WCRA Race #4 On September 4th 2011. Yes, six laps to a heat. Including Offshore. This is OPEN offshore not electric offshore.
Open Classes are just that, open. Run whatever you want. As long as the hull type fits in the class.
