Danged trolling motor piece of crap dumped again. This is our 2nd one in about a year. Hopefully they will warranty this one as well.

Thanks Mike. I was kinda proud of how it came out with no more boating experience than I have. Almost a year now.Originally posted by highndry View PostBill, Awesome job with the TB. Just saw the vid. That puppy cooks on 6S. Inspiring.
This was was my 1st attempt at a twin too. I went ahead and sent the video link to Tom while I was at it.
Larry, replied to the pm. I'll call you shortly. Gotta make a smoke run.

He's somewhat interested in electrics. As for as a class, there's already unlimited offshore. If I'd known it would be fiinshed and dialed in in time I would have been tempted to enter that class for the winter nats. It actually built quicker than I was expecting. Still has some dialing in to do though. Once you take it past 3/4 throttle it starts getting scary.Originally posted by highndry View PostTom may have to pursue a new market now...got to find a class for that rig.
Glad you enjoyed the day Dave and thanks for the compliment on the cat.

For those that are interested, I spoke with Ken haines last weekend about getting together at their lake for some racing before the Nats in June. He said we could do it on a sunday that they are not having their regular club races going on. We would just need to figure out what we want to run that day and let him know. Most of there guys are at the lake most sundays, so we can go over and have some fun racing with them.
Anyone who has not been to a race yet, don't be affraid to run at the nats. Its a lot of fun and a great group of guys on the east coast.
Ken also told me that as long as their are 3 boats in a class, they are planning to run them at the nats, so pretty much anything can be run.

Caps
Hey Larry.
I'm getting ready to order a couple of those etti cap boards for Goldfinger but wondering if using the big HV versions would be more beneficial than the LV. This is getting into an area I'm not too familiar with and would love an educated opinion or two.
Thanks
Bill

That's what I thought. I was just looking at the size of the caps and the HV set looked lot's more "beefy" (I'm into overkill I guess)Originally posted by TRUCKPULL View PostBill

Larry, can you use the bigger bank even on lower cell count, 4S, 6S, etc? I know it's bigger but...?Mini Cat Racing USA

I can't find an OSE member for the guy that ran with us on Sunday. I asked him a couple of times and he said he was RICH-E or something like that but nobody like that on OSE. He was the black gentleman. Seemed like a nice guy! Anybody know?Mini Cat Racing USA

Sharkbite is actually Dave and I think the name you're wanting here is Richard but don't know what his handle is here or if he is even on the OSE forums.Originally posted by sailr View PostI can't find an OSE member for the guy that ran with us on Sunday.
