Actually, I was able to haul Alex's big 60" MTI in over the side (after finally chasing it down on that "take a lunch" cruise) Think it might have been a little heavier than this one but not by much.

Looking like Sunday at Ackerman with weather permitting to me. Do you remember how much your gas T-Bolt weighed Mike? I'm guessing it was probably lighter than this one.

Bill, not sure, but a gas motor and fuel will weigh considerably less than FE set-up. I have some props I will donate your cause this weekends.

As an aside, I play with a classic rock band..I know some of you are aviation enthusiasts, while researching a John Denver tune ( I know some dont respect him in that genre, but I do) anyway, I was interested in the circumstances surrounding his accident and researched the ntsb report on the accident. I have some hulls for sale. I thought I would offer them to you guys first. I have two brand new Mean Machine's with hardware for $100 each if I deliver them on Sunday. I also have a 27" shovel nose hull. GREAT running hull. $100 if delivered Sunday. Would make a good LSH. The Miss Ruby 2Shoes is built from that same hull. It is now a shelf queen.

The MM's run really well in LSO.

Please let me know and I'll bring with me. Otherwise, they will go in the swap shop next week.

Since you're not bringing anything to run you should bring them along Jim. Mean machine is getting really tempting at $100 for hull & hardware. After seeing it in person I probably would. (here we go again)

Don't know just how good the weather is going to be and may not bring much to run myself. Aviation site only makes it to early sat moring right now and already shows about 8 ese at 8:00 am. That would tend to push "dead boats" away from the shore (I think) Fox is showing about 40% rain chance as well.
Unless it's really nasty I would still like to put that cat in the water if Chris is coming with the retrieve boat tho.

In the interst of most, I'd say that the guys who can and want to run on Sat up at Archies or Truckpull's should go ahead and get together for it. Still plan the meeting unless it's really nasty for Sunday and call it an option for attending.

I just bought a different van and can no longer haul the other retrieve boat as it has no roof rack and no drip rails to mount an after market one either! Ideas anyone?

I plan on arriving there at 9 the latest. I know some of you guys come from and hour plus north (and south) but I think w/ the weather, the earlier we can get things moving the better. By 11, we may be done. Bill and Chris, If you want to be there even earlier, let me know. Im game for whatever...

The way it's starting to look I'm thinking the only thing I'm going to bring is the big cat. (mostly to get some pics of it in the water and maybe a little video) Sure won't be pushing it hard tho for how it's looking. It's still a little far out for a really accurate forecast but it's already showing 17 plus by 1:00 pm.
I'll be there by 9 (ish) as well barring heavy rain and high winds.

Chris I did the same thing to my Genny since our last meet.... Havent tested her yet. Still deciding on how I want to do my motor support. But I should have it out there as well.
