If Bill or Chris or Ray or.....? had a place to keep and way to haul the retrieve boat, the club would buy it for them. We need a backup plan for when I can't make it to a race!

      Guys? What say?

I would dearly love to have that retrieve boat. Storage is the big issue.

I have a place to store it, and a pickup truck to haul it, BUT... I'm not sure I can wrestle it in and out by myself.

Hippie, do you know how much it weighs?

Chris, it shouldn't be that bad to drag into and out of a pickup bed.

If I had a place to keep it, I would. It would be nice to have available "anytime" I wanted to go and run. Sadly I live in a 2 br apt and my back beroom is already full of planes & rc boats. I really would't want to ride around all the time with it on the roof of my van and that's about the only place I have to put it.

If the consensus is "we want it" I can store it at my place.

Hold off Hippie. Let me check the club's bank balance. Osprey, If we get it could you pick it up in your pickup and take it home?

Hippie, do the oars come with it? That would be a deal maker!

Jim Osprey is on his way up today to buy my Genisis. He should be here around 10 or 10.30 this morning. Yes the home made oars come with it .

The Jon boat is sold. Thank you Jim .

I picked up the Jon boat from hippie and hauled it home.

Unloaded it by myself (piece of cake) and humped it into the backyard.

I have an idea for a two wheeled dolly so I can roll it from the driveway to the backyard and vice-versa.
