I guess we take our back yard lake for granted and race on a daily basis at encore. Our guys always show up with batteries charged and boats ready to go. We are working hard with pete forcier to get a fe club at pleasant lakes rv resort. I thought we were on the same page. My mistake. Lol encore man

Encore Man, I would really like to figure out a way to get the guys from your lake and our lake together to run. After talking with pete the other night, it sounds like there are several guys there and we could have a pretty good club.

Obrien, I am not going to go there as our views on things are categorized as complaints. Simply put, the boaters at ENCORE RV RESORT are not interested in joining any outside organizations at the present time. I have tried to point out the multiple benefits of joining but they are just not interested. I am not happy with the way I have been treated in this forum but have decided to put it to bed. I will ask the guys again in the fall. Thanks for your interest, BG

Yes i had a great time & met some good people. Thank you for the invite . I think it's the RR diff in your savage that is bad . I still have to take it apart . But from a little test i ran that seems like the problem .

Also my new VS1 & rek lower unit are on the way .

Race/April/Encore

Re: Encore. I managed to get out of the loop on that whole issue. We welcome everyone to our events and encourage new members to join. As a Club comprised of a small group of enthusiasts, we are inclined to be flexible at our monthly events to accomodate the needs of our group or others ( newbes) who may attend. Accordingly, there may be events where those of us who are more competitive elect to forego racing to support someone who may need help with a new boat, have trouble with a set-up. etc..

For March we will be competing at the Waveblasters race.

I welcome the Encore contingent or anyone else who would like to compete, to join us in April. We will set April aside for racing only. Thanks.

We always welcome new people. We are not ALWAYS concentrating on actual racing. Sometimes we have the need to test and tune our boats to get ready for an event or if a new person shows up and has questions we will stop what we are doing to help him/her. We have great commaraderie in our club and we enjoy helping others including newbies.

There is a perception by some that since we do not race race race race, all the time, that we are not worthy of their interest and they loudly spread that to others outside the club. Should they decide otherwise, we still welcome them at any time.
