Hi Guys, I started this "Eastern MA" thread with the hope of getting together with fellow FE boaters. Unfortunately, the combination of my Dad passing away and those frustrating water chestnut weeds have kept me away from RC boats. It's been 5 yrs, and I'd like to get back into it. Fortunately, I was able to salvage most of my LiPos. I can use my reliable MM, DF22 Hydro. I've begun building again - almost done with my new M-1 SuperCat with TP4050/1300kv/6S2P which I hope to run soon.

I'm about 1 hr away from Plymouth, but it's on the way to my summer vacation spot on the Cape. Are you still meeting at Fresh Pond?... Let me know if you guys meet up.

I'm also thinking of going to the Woods Hole Model Boat Show, April 18, 19, for an early kick off to summer. Hope to see a few of you there... Maybe we can meet up at Shucker's Bar for some drinks.

Lexington/Belmont. I used to run my boats in the Upper Mystic. But, the ponds around Boston fill up with water chestnuts by June, making them impossible to run boats. Where are you?

Yes we are still running at Fresh Pond. Usually every other Saturday when the season gets going. I am also a 1.5 hour drive from Plymouth, I live in Salem. This will be the third year of running at Fresh Pond. I have places near my house to run but as you all know it is better when you have some others to run with. Gets pretty boring running alone.

Luck is the spot the same place where Kevin runs? I would like to check it out sometime as it is closer for me and the other guys wouldn't mind trying it either. I will post the details as the times get closer however Saturday is looking good as of now. We run around 11:00am until around 3 depending.

Is there any AC power there or do we need to bring a gen?

klbo there is no power it is a small boat ramp where we run, noise is an issue as well have to be as quiet as we can so a generator is ok as long as it is quiet. I usually bring mine it is very quiet. We don't want to lose the spot.

Hey john, no it's not the same spot as Kevin. Kevin and I either run at his spot in canton,or my spot in hopkington
My other spot in natick is behind a business, so nobody complains about noise. On the weekends it's closed so free for all. Nice parking lot 20 yards from the water
I also run at the state park up the street from me, but if you want to come one Saturday to natick Lmk.
