Gents, for this coming weekend (6/22), we up for meeting at 10:30 AM EST? If later in day works better, let's shoot for for 3:00PM.
There should be a good mix of boats (Fast/slow/mono's/cats/4s/6s), etc.

Location is 220 Bartlett Road
Plymouth MA 02360
-Lots of parking
-Picnic tables for setting up boats
-Smooth pond with no weeds and sandy beach for launching
-Shade to keep cool while running
-If John comes, he may even let us use his portable recharging station
-Good people to run with at a fantastic location

Let me know if I am missing anyone, but looks like the following folks are interested:

Hi John, I just sent PM's to 14 people on this thread who have not been active over the past few weeks. That way we can keep this going. If we get a few people who want to run on Sat, let's do it. If not, we'll make it happen next week. Unfortunate for me, but I'm out next week due to a wedding.

Also I would like to mention, I have a friend Norman who used to be on this forum, he lives on a lake in Abington, I can possibly call him and see if we can use his property. I dunno if he is still running boats, but he always told me I could go there anytime, even if he's not around. I'll give him a jingle later and see what's goin on with him. I'm pretty sure I met Larry there a couple of times

Matt that's OK I want to just keep this moving as well. I have the tournament that I want to attend in Connecticut that was planned ages ago. Please keep trying I should be available the following weekend but I guess you are not. We will get together soon.

I have heard about the lake in Abbington as well. I went by a couple of times and no one was around. I did not want to go on anyone's property without permission. This is a more central location for all I think if that is possible. We are just trying to get some thing going in this area. As you may have read above we have run in Plymouth twice and had an awesome time and the more the merrier. I also ran for the last 2 years with my son in NH but he is so busy with his business he doesn't have much time. If we can get a half dozen guys that want to run we can switch around locations as well. Most don't mind a drive. As I see it this is the most action for this thread in years. Lets keep it alive!

After next weekend ill be back so wherever is the agreed on spot ill come. If it is our lake in plymouth and a few come out ill bring out the grill and we can hang out and race some boats

Heaving, I called and talked with Norman...it was out of the blue and was not expecting my call. Even so, he was a very nice guy. Told me you guys used to have a blast together, then random people came uninvited without him being there which got too much for him. Says he is not interested in running due to time limitations (Hockey/Tuna season), but hopes to get his $5,000 RC boat finished at some point.

Again, it's the first time we talked so maybe you have better success than I did.

Scott doesn't have the esc for his spartan yet but I left him with my MG so he could have a boat to run
