We will have to organize our group. Will we continue to be an isolated group, or an FE division of the bigger club? We also need to get our classes defined. Your Micro, vs. my Mini? What defines sizes? My (what I call mini) is 17.5" long. These and other topics are what we should have discussed at lunch that one day. but the Drobie sale kinda got in the way

Organize?
That sounds kind of like FEMBOT's is turning into a real club. How about small, medium, and large classes. Although Duncanjerry may be the only one running in the large class. I think for now maybe we should be a division of the larger club as they have a much better name and we are so few at this point. I vote we maintain FEMBOT but as a offshoot of the other club => Best of both worlds.
As far as the size classes, I think Egneg's idea is good. Small = micro and mini, I have no problem with that. Medium = hulls up to xx"s, then Large for everything above. Then I also think we should have, Fastest Electric in the group of any size. This specific award would be broken only when a certain GPS reading breaks the record and this would not be challengable and relinquished at the pond at a given day.
Just an idea:
Small = up to 17.5 inches
Medium = up to 32 inches (just a guess)
Large = everything above.
Only issue is, we need a radar gun for the riggers and the smaller stuff. I'm probably about a month or two away from purchasing one.
What do you think? FEMBOT a subset of the other club. Receiver in Viper is cooked.
Now I'm back down to one FM receiver. I'm going to go through the circuit this evening and see if I can get it working again. It's not very promising though...

After some frustrating repair without the original circuit diagram, the receiver is now working but is now intermittent.
