I am checking out a new pond.
It's about the size of a football field (rectangular even) and is clear all the way around it (grass and sloped banks into the water). It's in a new development off of Princess Anne road and they are just starting to build houses. I saw it from Seaboard road this past Saturday and will let you know more after I get a closer look.

Do you have a rough address? Or can I find via the intersection of Seaboard and Princess Anne.
I'm also working on that pond over at Princess Anne Park, back behind the CHKD Intensive Care Hospital. It seems that they would love to have the kids be able to see the boats from the upper floors, but I think Sentara owns the pond. It has the same characteristics: sloped banks to the water, plus it looks pretty clean. Besides that, it's the perfect size.

Diego, don't forget about that guy I talked to when we were looking for a pond that day with Jeff, because of the wind. Remember? He was excited about having us come out and he even had a john boat and a canoe we could use for rescue.

Plus no wind even on windiest days due to the water sitting down about 15 feet or maybe more.
In case you don't remember, this is right around the corner from the church, but isn't connected to that water system.
