    hahaha

Watch out for those hanging chads. They could shave some speed.

Also, if it looks like someone else is going to be faster than you just have the CD switch your name in at the last second while nobody is looking.

This is just an example of why not to run SAW near shore, that was 136mph, one propeller lifted approximately 30 feet prior to half track and the boat cleared the exit light. That would be 24 pounds flying approx 200'

Just got a report of a new SAW record set today. Brian Buaas raised the P Hydro record to 136 mph, with a fast pass of 141. Congratulations to Brian!

Yes and he did so with his Dinogy Graphene lipos he ran at the nats this year. Very proud of Brian right now.

SAW Nov. 2017 - Random Pix & Vids

Just beginning to recuperate and catch up. Car's not unloaded yet. Darin & Brian currently on the road back to the PNW. A few random pix & vids - need to sort out lots more as I catch up with my other activities. Enjoy

( FWIW no pictures or vids are remotely able capture the spirit and the WARMTH that permeates this event. All the efforts and sacrifices to ready the lake, get boats and gear together, travel the distance, and spend three days in quick succession from sunup to sundown become secondary to the feeling that comes from old friends spending time together for these few rare and precious moments. Witnessing the upwardly evolving envelope of equipment and speed has been an enormous learning experience for me - I'm truly privileged to have been a part of this and have for the 20 or so SAW's I've attended in past years.)

                            Thanks for the videos, Tony.

                            Slight correction.

                            1-Cell is M2-Hydro, that's the first video.
The other one in N1-Hydro, which us actually 2-Cell.

If I were to designate my DF28 Pathfinder to spec 4s SAW running, what setup would you guys suggest for me to try? Mainly motor and prop. I have many spec motors.

Would I best use a Castle ESC? I have one.

Are there rules for spec I don't know about?
