I suppose this as good a time and place as any to mention that sadly I won't be attending what would be my eigth Winter Warmups. Suffice it to say that I'll sorely miss every one of you, and before things got messy I was especially looking forward to meeting the Michigan contingent.

Have a great race as always, and I'll be there in spirit if not in body.

Well that sucks. What's the hang up? Need us to threaten someone? They'll be empty threats but people hear we're from Detroit and cower in fear.

We could place cardboard cut outs of all the missing usual suspects like we did at the 2010 nats. Although the cardboard crowd around the crapper might get a bit large.

Been rough here too. We've had more snow in January than EVER in Detroit. I could not be sicker of winter. I tried to end winter by purchasing a new snow blower but the Depot was out of stock.

All my boats and gear are in the boxes. What ever I forgot I'll be doing without.

Well then we need to bring our Arctic gear !!! That just means that Davis will have to wear shorts and a T- shirt instead of the Speedo (not a pretty sight !)
