What a great weekend, I'm very proud of our Northern Lights MBC members for working their tails off in some record heat to host the largest event in our ten year history.

Dave, Mikes' oldest is going to be a far better racer than he is. I don't think he would mind me saying that. Apparently Dougie is her regular pit man. She's smart on the course. Dives right in to the boats in the pits. All she needs is a touch of confidence. I don't remember her cutting a buoy. Dodged dead boats like a pro.

His youngest is a warrior. She was feeling ill and we never heard a complaint from her. She got sick before a heat, raced, took a first, then got sick again.

Clearly I was super impressed with the girls.

Sorry Ray. I squeezed you out of P mono. Shoulda coulda woulda. I had the juice to win that class but.........shoulda coulda woulda. Sucks when the boats perform and we don't.

Congratulations to Pags! Won 4 of his 6 classes, and his daughter beat up on you guys, too!

I've only raced with Pags a few times, but he's better than ever right now.

Sorry I had to leave before awards. I was a burnt match and dead tired.

Thanks to all that worked their ASSES off in the wicked heat.

Thanks again to all for the help up the stairs of drivers stand. My GF has a steel frame foldable ramp that we could donate to make life easier and safer?

It requires either one or 2 sheets of plywood to complete and folds in half. I think she paid over $100 for it and it's still in a box on my balcony.

I had a great time at the event though I burnt up 2 ESC's and 2 UL-1 motors. Holy crap, I'm dumb as dirt in the hot weather setups.

If I has my PTSS paint done It would have been very different!!! Damn heavy whiplash... good cool weather/ rough water boat though!!

Mike and Roger Hallam and Steve Peterson did a fiantastic job on the site, thanks guys!

Talking to Bob Morton about place to eat and if you just go up Wellington Rd. you wll not want for anything, "The Keg" is a nicer steak house, "Jack Astor's is a fun Sports Bar and Grill and if you want a great Chinese Buffet "Mandarin" is the place. A great Fish and Chips place called "Archies" is right accross from the Super 8, they do takeout as well.

    Lot's in the area.

Looks like a great event shaping up with 6 & 7 boat heats in many classes.

Long range weather's lookin' good too with some much needed cooling off in store.

Trying to get all the entries in before I leave tomorrow morning, so if you're coming please enter now at http://www.rcracinge.../browseraces.pl, send an e-mail to tkee@rogers.com or even call.

The Oneida Cup is awarded to the contestant with the highest score with two boats, Pete Forcier won it in 2010, Steve Peterson last year, wonder who's gonna who's name will be on this year?
