I haven't but I'm sure it does drop a bit. That's why I ordered some stronger batteries the other day to help with that.Originally posted by srislash View PostHave you measured the voltage drop on the batteries Travis? I was surprised to see mine drop to 43'ish volts from 50(12s). Or so my logger was telling me.

That's 3.6v/cell under load Shawn. That's reasonable, depending on the current draw.Originally posted by srislash View PostHave you measured the voltage drop on the batteries Travis? I was surprised to see mine drop to 43'ish volts from 50(12s). Or so my logger was telling me.

Right now I have 7s...65c 6500 spc packs. Well two 3s packs and a 1s pack sandwiched in the left sponson. Lol. It took some ingenuityOriginally posted by srislash View PostYes, I have Dinogy 3300's. Not sure if maybe 4000's would help that out but on 12s2p that is $$$ and I am not sure I can get bigger in there. What size are you able to squeeze into that Rivercat?
I have some revolectrix batts on the way. Be here wed. 5500 70c......two 3s and a 2s pack to maybe run it on 8s. 7s for sure.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

Time for another update. I made a few small changes in hopes of breaking 90mph. I wasn't sure it was gonna do it but every weekend it gets a touch faster. I used a 1/4" shorter rudder, rounded the face of the drive dog and tried some revolectrix batteries. Still on 7s like before. Well....it was outstanding to say the least!
Here's the pic....

T180.....I want to try a swordfish 240 tho. I think it will put the power down more than the t180. ....Originally posted by srislash View PostBravo Travis. So which ESC in there ATM?32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

Well first off, I tried a etti 7s controller which was supposed to be more efficient. ...it was even though it wasn't enough amps for my setup. I picked up about 1mph...which exceeded any previous speed I've attained. Put the T180 back in...dropped back to the same mph.Originally posted by Rocstar View PostWhat makes you think that?
Next...ive been talking to keith here and there and he seems to think the same thing...the t180 is not meant to be run on 7s like I'm doing and I could benefit from a true hv esc...
And lastly, I've read several times where people have picked up mph going from a t180 to a swordfish or a flier (type) esc including someone who posted right above you.
I may try 8s just for the heck of it, but I want to get what I can get of of my setup as it is. Then I plan on backing down the cell count and raising kv and a few other things just to see how I can do on 6s or 4s.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was
