Well you have two setups
One esc one motor and 6s2p per motor
Twin CC1717 with 6s4p would be 4 packs per motor...
I would think, anyway......NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8s

what's the benefit of running the esc's parallel, and when doing this I guess you'd do it the same as when making a parallel battery connection?

I think he is trying to say that since he has parreleled all 4 6s pack that would make the battery leeds to the esc's parrelleled. Goal is to have all batts draw down equally."Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."

yeah ...I didn't know that the battery spec is in relation to the motor ...I do know for sure that there are 4 6s packs in parallel

It does increases the overall discharge rate too ! Esc's are eating good !Originally posted by riptide1 View Postyeah ...I didn't know that the battery spec is in relation to the motor ...I do know for sure that there are 4 6s packs in parallel

I don't know if I get any benefit except that there are less connectors and I have heard that one esc can draw more amps if you only make right hand turns ...if that's the case, it's spread out over all 4 packs and I don't have to worry about draining packs unevenly. I can tell you that the temps on both right and left motors and escs were equal and I mainly made big right hand oval turns ...

You will see a bigger diffrence in mah draw the farther spread your drives are. Your motors are really tourqey and because you were running wet mostlly is why everything was even on temps , and you were using some safe props.Originally posted by riptide1 View PostI don't know if I get any benefit except that there are less connectors and I have heard that one esc can draw more amps if you only make right hand turns ...if that's the case, it's spread out over all 4 packs and I don't have to worry about draining packs unevenly. Now you just need to buy another Ice esc and throw some good 4s packs in to series up 8s 2p for a total of no more than 12000mah and get a good pair of 3 blade props and go SAW racing ! You can take S or T offshore for the record ! Easily...."Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex...
