I hate driving down from Newmarket to run my BJ26, and all the sail boat guys are there. I gotta wait til they are all done. They get pissy if you start running around them.

Kookie, we sail on Monday during the day, Tuesday evening, Thursday during the day and most Saturdays/Sundays from 9AM to about 2-3PM.

Just FYI, the pond was created by the City of Toronto for the club in 1973 and it's registered to CRYA.

They don't mind if you run FE, it's nitro they don't want.

sweet thanks. Last time I showed up with my BJ26, I walked over to the dock between the 2 ponds and ran from there, staying well away from them, and I've never had so many nasty looks thrown my way. And the small pond is too small to do anything.

Is your BJ nitro or lipo?
If its nitro than no wonder you got the looks
If lipo than its just a matter of arriving on the right time.
Many times if you stay on one side of the pond not cutting their path you will be fine. Notice they are not using the whole pond, maybe 1/4 th of it...
Will let you know when we are going to be there next time...
This comming weekend will have rain most likely...

Brushless. I personally don't like nitro boats, too noisy, and the brushless setups are faster nowadays anyhow.
