Leopard not the OEM for Castle

What?? As the video clearly states, Leopard does not make motors for Castle. Castle has their own partnered motor factory in China, and they license designs and the name NEU from Steve Neu. The owner of Castle said all this some time ago online - just like it says in the video. Didn't you view it?Doesnt answer any questions regarding Leopard Vs Castle.....
BTW it was all uploaded January 12, 2011. If someone doesn't want the pics up they've had ample time to take them down.
Posted by Castle November 9, 2010:
Castle has been working on a number of major steps, including the creation of a wholly Castle-owned motor factory (yes, China), to help us bring high quality motors to the RC market at a reasonable price. That factory is up and running and they are doing a great job.

Pdelcast is Patrick @ castles online handle. I believe he is the owner. The pics are probably intentionally available, since no one seems to take him for his word. I started a thread here a good while back quoting his post about the separate factory, etc. Maybe he figures pics will help back his word.Catching Air!

Glad this thread got some views. Maybe this will put to bed some false information.
* I will say I still do enjoy my Leopard motors. They have been good to me!

Your probably right John. Seems people believe Joe Ford more then Pat. Not sure why that is? But I dont follow the car/truck/buggy crowd anyways. The only problem with the series of pictures shown in pdelcast folder is few are relevant to showing a factory producing brushless motors. All the machines that are shown have nothing to do with making a motor. They are electronic parts placing machines. A Genesis GC120? Like for a speedo, maybe? The pictures of his passion, that of sea water corals, again have nothing to do with brushless motors. And the pictures taken in the Antartic of the sea bottom sensor? Well maybe an experiment in ancient brushless motor making that went to the bottom over time.Originally posted by johnf View PostPdelcast is Patrick @ castles online handle. But there are a dozen or so where one can see the spools of silicone motor lead wire on pallets. I like the spinning led shape forming device. That is interesting. I'm guessing it spins. If it is Pat's folder he is one interesting guy thats for sure.

Wow...so castle owns their own factory? That takes some very very serious investment and red tape in another country. Guess this video makes me a true believer now. Still buy my loepards...best bang for the buck.

There are a mixture of pictures in my photobucket account, including pictures of our factory in Kansas (the pick and place machines, photos of the facility, etc.) I took down the personal pictures (pics of my family and myself) and the pics from my saltwater aquarium and my LED lighting projects... :)
So feel free to browse!
And BTW, Castle Holdings is a Kansas LLC that wholly owns the factory in China (Castle Zhongshan Electrical and Motor)
We have absolutely no affiliation, connection, relationship whatsoever with Leopard motors in Shenzhen, and never did.
