So what you're saying is you don't think the x470/2 is the wrong setup here Doby? I should have done a FE calc before I get to worries on the prop eh! Haha... I don't think this is any Lehner but it is a 580kv so maybe I should see how she goes!

I was running on 10S as well, not 12S....as the motor is an unknown, I would be a bit more cautious to start off. Also, strut height will help it unload more.Grand River Marine Modellers

I have had a few of the earlier proboat hulls and would think that something this size and weight would definitely need re-enforcing in all areas. It wasn't designed for the speeds and stresses electric will put on it.Grand River Marine Modellers

Also, I've seen the gasser version of this hull run....SLOW DOWN IN THE TURNS!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't take much to flip it.Grand River Marine Modellers

In an effort to tame the blackjack I set my Trekker 800dfc atop of it, I think it helped let him know there was a higher power :)
And I've heard the same thing about the turns... I ordered the upgraded rudders from funrcboats that have water pickups to do away with the cooling line in front of the rudders, and I think I may do some big reinforcing in including CF plate the transom... I know it's not if I have a blowover but when and how many.

If it makes you feel better ray this thing is a pia to just move around the house.... It's tall, fairly wide and 60" with hardware so it's def not a easy task to move safety without bouncing it off things lol... I think I need one of them boat bags lol...Originally posted by ray schrauwen View PostBig boats are soo cool unless you can't carry it, lol...

I just saw a pic from Blackjack Sven's album and it appears reinforcement is a very good option. His cracked inside the sponson just in front of the tunnel.Originally posted by JMSCARD View PostIn an effort to tame the blackjack I set my Trekker 800dfc atop of it, I think it helped let him know there was a higher power :)
