Honestly I don't remember. I had the electronics already. I used the esc out of my buggy. I did swap motors because at first I had the 2650kv version of the 1512 in it.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

Well because I'm impatient and waiting on parts for the daytona, and waiting for it to warm up a little before I start on the lehner rivercat, I decided to fit a 1515 2200kv castle in it. What a pain in the rear! I had not planned for this size motor and I wish I would have. I had to do some unorthodox modifications to get it to fit. I cut the motor shaft shorter. I had to cut the bottom of the motor plate and I had to grind the motor down and water jacket down some. The cooling jacket is just to large in diameter. Don't worry tho...I have a spare front cap for the motor anyway should I want to use it in something else. Heres a pic of the motor lol....

And the motor installed. I'll be cleaning up the cooling lines, I have some 90 degree fittings on the way that will go into the cooling block and allow me to tuck them in better. And yes, it will be run on 6s!
I doubt I'll have any problems tho. I'll be using small props and this boat is pretty light. The esc has built in protection and thermal protection so I'm not worried about it. Plus I have a spare esc just like it and those motors are cheap. I'll try to tune her in on lower voltage but I'm gonna make some saw runs on 5s and 6s....maybe even 7s..... not! Lol

All things considered equal, how would you compare the handling between the 26", the cheetah, the daytona and the shocker?

There's one clear cut winner, hands down...the cheetah will trounce those boats soundly in the handling department. It will handle a light chop too. The mini does well at 50mph but I think next outing with this motor, handing will be out the window be a use of the speed it's going to be at. I figure it's going to be around 70 (if I can keep it on the water) with the motor and prop change. I have a stainless Prather 220 that I did last night for it....super sharp and thin. I'll try to get the 642 and Prather 215 done too. Wanna start small to begin with. I already know this is a nasty nasty setup on 6s....I had this in my 32" rivercat. ...it was pretty fast!Originally posted by tjdabomb View PostAll things considered equal, how would you compare the handling between the 26", the cheetah, the daytona and the shocker?32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

I always try to get video! Lol. I'm actually kinda scared to run it. I have some 2s packs on the way but won't be here till Tuesday. I may just run a 3s on one side and a 1s on the other to start off. 6s is going to be a frigging hand full until it's tuned in.Originally posted by tjdabomb View PostMake sure you get and post video!! I looked at the ship Tag on it. It came from Indonesia. It shipped on The 12th and got here on the 16th. No lie. It has always taken just 5 working days to get to me.Originally posted by tjdabomb View PostLies I say, lies!! Haha
I buy stuff from from Asia and it takes a month to get to me.
I attempted to go run it today. Charged up batteries but didn't get to run it. I had a bunch of running around to do today and just didn't have time.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was
