    Circus Circus Hydroplane

Picture of my Circus Circus hydroplane finished earlier this year. Hull is a modified Dumas kit that I lightened by removing excess wood. Paint is from KlassKote. Motor is a Neu 1527 with a Castle ESC. Thanks for looking.

Lol, this reminds me....I talked to castle (today actually) and was asking them some questions about a neu motor. You know what they told me, the 1521 in have in my 32" cat isn't enough motor that I should have a 1527 in it. Lol (I am planning g on this anyway but by all means a 1521 is not too small for a 32" cat! Lmao)

This isn't a Proboat deuces, or an Aquacraft miss bud, this boat is 43" x 21" and around 12 pounds, so a 1527 is by no means over kill.
            That being said, ummm, yeah!

              Beautiful job.
So it's basically an 1/8th scale?
What kv & voltage on the 1527?
              I run a 1527/1Y 1250kv on 8s in my 1/8th.
I'm just interested in comparisons as I'm building another 1/8th at the moment.

                Yes, it is a 1/8th scale. I run a Neu 1527 1.5y 850 kv on 10s. For a prop, I use a x450/3 and a x452. Set-up runs in the low 60s.

Looks REALLY good, I would suggest some supports for the verticals though.

Thanks for the advice. I did add the vertical supports after the initial pictures were taken. You are correct as it really helped.
