No kit. That's a one off stick built that's a mix of a half dozen boats I've owned over the years.

I'll take it to Phoenix. If it works I'll ask TFL to mold it.

Making molds is a pain in the butt. At least for me it is. Some guys really dig it.

The more you know about the mold process while you are designing something the easier it is to mold later. Negative release angles make the process harder than it needs to be. You have to consider where your parting lines will be while you're building. Those parting lines need to have a parting gate built to them for the first part of the mold to be built on. That produces the flange where the two parts are sandwiched together.

Head hurt yet? Some guys find the process very satisfying. The last time I needed a mold I paid to have it done. Paid too much too. For only a few parts it's not as bad. I'll still tackle molding a canopy but the whole hull......hate it.

I figure since my wife thinks of these RC boats as a disease the last definition might be right in line. If it works I can transfer the RC boat parasite from me into new hosts.

This build has been the hardest I've tackled thus far. Cutting the curves for the nose was a PIA. Event the strakes are curved cuts. ack
