Here's my first attempt at a twin cat. Picked up a 36" hull from Ray with rudder, drives, shafts, and mounts already installed. Once I pulled off the decal I found wood plugs and a split in the seam at the transom along with misaligned struts, I would assume not his work.
I've since remounted the struts, filled and glassed in the transom, and realigned the mounts. I'm making a couple battery trays to drop in the hulls forward of the motors and will fill some of the bow with two part foam.
AQ 1800kv motors, AQ 60A ESC, .150 counter rotating flex with Graupner 45mm props on 4S each for starters (it's what I got:)
Don't plan to set any water speed records, but it sure has been a fun experience!
