you should switch to 32p gears, that way you dont have to worry about and getting stuck in those 48P gears

You are correct this is a boat forum, but its sweet looking and I wanted to show it and get others opinion on it.... Its a reaper customs chassis, with a 2wd slash as a donor. I'm actually running emaxx gearing 11 tooth pinion 32 tooth spur gear with a 4600kv motor on 3s. It's a wheelie machine!
