Only several runs so far. It was running quite wet though. I guess because of two sets of 12s 5000mAh. Total weight was 35lbs. Top speed around 53mph(gps) but the amp drawn was reasonable (90amp peak - each). Going to try with 4000mAh this weekend and play around with COG and struts angle. Any advice is very welcome...Originally posted by Make-a-Wake View PostThanks for the compliment! You run it yet? Whats the voltage........12s?

Woah! Must be running wet at only 53 mph.............your cog should be around 28-30% from transom, stingers should be neutral or even a tad positive. What props? Surely you can spin a couple of x457-x460's.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:

Thanks Make-a-Wake. Will try this weekend. The props used are pair of x665. Is it too big? I think for twin, choices are very limited.Originally posted by Make-a-Wake View PostWoah! For the 46", you may want to consider this...Originally posted by Mattwarner View PostWow! I considered one of these but went for another 46" mono going to be running a single 5692 on 12s, make sure you post some vids!

Not mine though. This one runs with twin 5698. I think twin mono setup may not be as speedy as expected (or may be just on my setup).
However, the run time is very very good.

Hi guys,
Just to update... after following suggestions and play around with strut angle, cog, reducing lopo weight, and switching prop direction, the boat no longer running wet now. Actually...even need to adjust the trim tab to get the nose down. Most important change was switching prop direction from outward turning to inward turning. This make the whole boat lifted from water (especially the nose) and gain more speed. Thanks to folks on the Prop Talk forum for pointing this out... http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...n-for-Offshore
The amp drawn is higher now but considering size and weight of the boat comparing to speed (61 mph... 98.3 kph), I think for me it's good enough to celebrate...
