Just bought the hull used. Tore all the mounts out of the interior. It was purple. Very purple. A little dupli-color black and clear fixed that. (transom not done yet) She's looking a little better now!
It will be a 12s boat, with Leo 5692 and Fightercat 16s 200 amp esc. Should start building Monday night when I get my hardware in.

That is the same setup I was going with for Peter 48" Stealth,
But on 8s & 10S.
I just need to get a esc for it now.
Do you think the Fightercat 16s 200 amp esc would work for the setup in that 48"hull ?

Nice hull there Rum....................That was my second choice when I got my 47" Kevlar from Promise Hobby.........its the 10s boat in my sig.

I have always admired that hull................sleek and sexy. You sure are gonna pack some cells in that baby arent ya!!

You should be in the low 30's rpm-wise loaded up....................sounds like an x457/3 or x460 is in order!! , possibly even a Prather 245-250.

I'll be starting with a x457. Will also test on 12s1p. Amp draw should be pretty damn low with a x457, and I'd bet I'll still be in the 60's.

Should get on the water this week. All done besides a coupler I just ordered. When I bought the motor, I thought it was 8mm shaft, so ordered the 8mm to 1/4". Turned out to be a 6mm shaft. Sooo, If anyone wants a badass 3 pc 8mm to 1/4" coupler I've got one.. at discount.

I built it like a tank. 3/4 of the bow is filled with 2 part foam and the entire hull has an extr layer of CF and some glass. It was a FE layup, which means built light. I think thats completely backward, but I'll make it work.

Lenny, I dont see why not. Should work O.K. Just be ready to buy a few props, and start small. S&B props are always quick sellers too once you find the one you like.

I think I'll start with my 2716 gasser prop... hahahhaha

Thanks for the heads up on the setup,
Peter gave me a x455 prop with the deal.
But I will start with some smaller one than that first,
Now just waiting on FC to open back up for the esc I need.
