    Twin Wing Hydro

I know Fine Design sells for H&M but does anyone know where to buy a Twin Wing Hydro from some one else. I have searched for them but cant seem to find the company.

From experience, obtaining the correct CG is very difficult with that hull. It looks cool, but it was designed around NiMH packs and is not LiPo-friendly at all. To answer your question, buy direct from H&M, the owner speaks pretty good English. The down side is that much of Germany is on holiday in July.

There is an English version of the site but I can't find it now: http://www.hydromarine.de/hm_0.htm

I use to run that boat with a few setups

4s/2p 1527/1d 447 prop (way under propped) and it was an animal to keep on the water.

4s/2p 1515/2.5d with 450-452/3 and wow, fantastic boat and would keep up with 23cats in my old club.

Currently doing a revamp on internals and setup to get CoG further forward. Will try run a 1521 1050kv motor on 6s running a 450-452/3. Not a race boat setup but I had great success with that convo in a 6s OBT so fingers crossed.

The idea is to make this a super scale looking hull now.
Never to race it just to show off.

Oliver (H&M) is great to deal with. When I did have to get things through him.
Just hurts the back pocket for shipping big boats these days.

Thanks for the info. It is indeed a very cool looking hull and have been eyeballing it for a long time. Without the cowl on in pictures you can see that it is very tight in the cockpit area for lipo's as you stated Jay. Got to have one !!!!

You could go with a '94 Miss Budweiser T-4 twin wing from ML Boatworks. Mike's frame kits are excellent.

That is a great option but fiberglass ,one piece and no assembly is what I like and easy to repair as well. It will be interesting to see how much she will cost to my door!!

I just happened to stumble on to this thread. I know that my friend Craig Bradshaw at West Coast Custom Boats has the two wing T-Plus, Circus Circus, Exide II hull in 1:10 scale. You might want to shoot him an email if you're still looking for one.
