    Dumas Eagle Brushless

I built this in the late 90's - early 00's. Used it for awhile on Nitro 7.5cc K&B.
Looking to convert it to brushless and wanted to get opinions to see if I am on the right track.

Boat weighs 6.0 lbs. empty. I am only looking to have fun with it. 50-60mph or faster?

    Things to do.
Cut fuel lines and seal. I will just leave empty tanks under the deck.
Cut out old brass tube for driveline and install new one. Probably keep the water lines.
Make a lengthwise hatch to seal center section and mount to secure cowl. Design and 3D print cover section for motor.
Do i cut out the self bailing section on the bottom and seal? I will have to repaint the whole thing eventually anyway. Or will that section be helpful on an older hull for less air trap?

These are the parts I have penciled in.

Leopard 4082 1450kv motor LEO 4068 - Is this OK or is something different better? TP Power 4070 1440kV?
ESC Hobby Wing 160A or 200A?
    (2) 65c 3s 70c packs wired in series for 6s. Or do I need to go 8s?
    Qs8 connectors
    ose-83350 motor mount
    ros-spds-007 flat bottom hydro strut
    ros-spdr-013 1 5/8 setback rudder - Do I need more setback?
    k&s 8131 1/4 brass stuffing tube.
    ose-187L cable
    Teflon Liner ose-oc187T-24
    Turn Fin Bent
    Props cutx450? - I have Prather 240. 245. 250 on hand, I was thinking of using the 240.

Look up the Eagle build on here from the pass. I believe 6s is best for what you looking to get. Use sport .40 hardware like you have listed. Cable .187 and tube with or without teflon personally I don’t use it. Right around 1500kv will be the best rang of RPMs for the right size prop. I find staring with a octura 14 series or a X series gets good for tuning. Start with a 1450 or a X450 S/B and deTongued. ESC 200amps should be good. Connectors should be 6.5mm on the battery and 8mm on the motor.
