    Any substitute motor for P1?

Silicone cooling tube got caught with the motor, Looking for a new motor, but Venom is out of stock and so is Tower, Curious to know what other out runner has the "collar" for the motor mount clamp. Want to keep the our runner set up.

      Thanks, Lenny!
I need to register in order to get to Fightercat's site, it seems to be having issues, will try later.
      Really appreciate your info!

The motors fightercat sells work awesome and are (as far as I am concerned) the exact same motor that venom charges double for minus the clamp/no motor mount style that makes there motor useless on every other boat.

Thanks, I think before I do anything major, I like to stick with the stock config. since I glassed over the motor mount area and will be a pain to gut the clamp mount to put other motor in. Like Diesel said, this design renders any other out runner unfit for this particular application. I am actually happy with the stock motor, it is quite good for sport-running. I am waitimg to hear from Venom. BTW, did you find out what is the optimal timing? You are right, for these motor to get so warm, there has to be a better timing--I never would have thought of that.

                  Thank you so much!
If I order the 2200Kv I may have to use the x640 prop, since my P1 is "down", I am in the process of putting in an 120A Seaking ESC, hopefully that will do.
