have not put gps in it yet just trying to get the right set up i think when i was running the v940 it was very flat and turned well but the prop might have been a bit big and not letting it rev free enough so i want to try the v937 or something with less pitch maybe, as for speed i would say 40-45mph as my ekos does 55 and the gas version does 67 so im judging from that

try a 440/3 or a 442/3 and do you have any angle in your strut?

in the gas one has a sikk 27 4 bolt version with porting done its got so much power now, it turns a x470/3 with ease

i have tried a x442 speed was ok but the lifting prop sat much nicer on the water

well lifting props work for some things lol ive never liked using them because i use the strut to raise the ass end up lol

You gotta remember these gas guys are limited in r's we do it with ease with electric but fuel boats need a little help keepin her arse up SOMETIMES.

exactly so the electrics don't absoulutely need to run lifting props because yall have all the r's u could ever need lol

i've actualy only got one gas and 8 electric but mostly cats and monos so im new to lifting props and as i tried one for the first time it ran real nice, i was impressed thats all

KOS i guess what im trying to figure out is how fast are you looking to go with your setup.

I think around 50mph should be ok thinking about using 5s and a x637, motor says it will handle 6s but i dont want to go that far

That otta do it lol. If not try a x642. I have had great luck with x642's when it comes to electric sport hydros lol.

i have tried a x437/3 it runs ok not fast enough

try running either a:
y536 it will lend itself to high rpms
for 3 blade the y537-3 it pretty good but needs a powerfull motor on 4S
x440 will give you big hole shoot but need a powerfull motor as well.
and the x640 is the top end prop i like the best but you better match up the motor and esc correctly or poof majic smoke from the ESC...
