    Spark at power up

    Hey Ya'll
    Everytime I plug in the batteries, there is a spark. Is this bad, harmful....or just flat out ok??

    It;s OK, just the caps discharging, this is normal.

      Actually the caps are charging, not discharging. The spark is telling you that the caps are working. If it ever stops sparking, then you have problems - the caps are bad. If the caps are not replaced very soon, the whole ESC will fail. The spark is your friend.

        Fluid, does this mean you do not use an anti-spark for this reason?
