Yes I understand that all the leads need changing but what covers the 5.5mm plugs from accidental contact or even wrong polarity....like any plug that is only 1way insertion to the other

The pos leads on the batts get the female connector.........neg, male. The on your ESC its opposite. Next you put heatshrink over the entire female bullet and have it long enough to extend up the wire about a half inch. Male leads get just the top part of the bullet covered to leave the actual plug in exposed

Yea there ok bud. I have the 6s 4000mah 30c running in a 41' mono on a 6s2p with a CC1717 and a x447/3. The did ok, I would buy them again however the Gens Ace packs and Sky Lipo packs are far superior IMHO.


* 5s2p is def the way to go on this boat with the electronics provided. I wouldn't waste money on the Traxxas packs. You could get much much more for your money. JMHO

Hmmmm, so there isn't a plug setup like this red one on the end of leads that will seat the 5.5 bullets?

From what I understood: female gets heat shrink to cover it up leaving opening of course for male insertion, while the male bullet is bare (just soldred on the wire....naked?)

NO, the male bullet gets heat shrink over the top part of the bullet where it meets the wire, and down to the thin part that goes into the female bullet....................

Oh..........if my wife reads your post she;ll think im on an "adult" site.............. female........male insertion.............naked...........etc......LOL
