Can I use a rechargeable battery pack in the Pro Boat transmitter rather than using alkaline batteries??

??? I'm not sure why THAT would be... Rechargable NiMH cells ARE only 1.2V/cell, vs. 1.5V for Alkalines, but I've used them for 2-years without any issues...Originally posted by TAMonti View PostPro Boat told me "NO". You have to use alkaline batteries.
A nice alternative are the new NiZn cells that Horizon cells... They are 1.6V/Cell. You can buy them with their charger for around $30.00...

OK, that makes more sense...
