    Impulse 31 battery concerns

Hi all. really enjoying the new Impulse 31 however I am having some battery issues. the boat started out really hauling (once I tweaked it a little to adjust the attitude) but after a bit the boat seemed to kill the batteries. I was using a set of 20c Zippy 5000's and a set of 25-50c Nanotech 4000's. The Nanotechs seem to be still ok but one Zippy hardcase actually melted the case a bit.I was wondering what people would suggest to run this boat in both the soft timing and hard timing modes? I currently have 4 30c Zippy packs on route from HobbyKing. Think those will do the job or did I waste my $100?

How long was your run time?

I just finished testing the Gens Ace 5000 40C packs. Compared to Turnigy and Flightmax 5000 30C packs I normally run, the Gens Ace run much cooler with a bit more punch. 30C packs will run fine but run hotter when you use WOT.
Run time is around 5-7mins in WOT and and around 10 for normal use

        Thanks for the reply.
Yeah run time was around 5-7 mins for my packs as well, a little less for the 4000 packs. So you tried the hard timing yet? What is the speed increase like if so?
